Project Overview:

At Play Creative I worked alongside their copywriter, Miranda Huston and Aaron Peterson, their head graphic designer at PLAY Creative LLC. to work in-house. We created History and Cultural Icons to help emphasize their history and work culture. Also created Blog Thumbnails for their values and their mission statements for each of their different social medias Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook to get people to click them and read about their values and mission.

When creating the icons I wanted to keep the design true to their brand by using their brand colors and elements. Before I began creating their icons, I read about their history and their work culture, and also talked to Miranda and Aaron and shared ideas of what each icon should and could look like. After learning about their History and Work Culture I created concepts and worked with Aaron on getting feedback to produce the icons into what they are today!

When creating the Blog Thumbnails for their values and their mission for their Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook social media. I wanted to keep the design true to their brand by using their brand colors and elements. I was able to have more creative freedom for their thumbnails, so I decided to go for an abstract approach for each of their thumbnails to keep it playful and true to their brand.
